The job:
Like being on your toes? If you answered yes, keep reading. If not…well you’ve probably stopped reading already. As a Copywriter at BG you’ll work in teams and fly solo to come up with the most persuasive advertising solutions. One day you’re writing a script, the next day you’re on a shoot, the next day you’re brainstorming new concepts. .
Our ads are designed to drive sales so your copy must always be both engaging and persuasive. You’re also going to need great presentation skills too because we like our creatives to present their ideas. You’ll work closely with members of our Oceania team including the Sales, Client Service and Creative Teams to deliver the best outcomes. Plus, the job requires flexibility – everybody has a different job description with plenty on their plate, but everyone is willing to roll their sleeves up and help out for the benefit of the team.
The right person:
If you seek fame and awards through advertising, this probably isn’t the gig for you. You’re interested in consumer behaviour and the power of advertising to genuinely influence it. You’re a superb communicator, both orally and in the written word. Plus you have a folio demonstrating your advertising skill. You work hard, you don’t watch the clock, you consume media, you’re curious, enthusiastic and you don’t drag your feet when you walk. With our business growing globally, we need your help.
